What we do

Everything between your receipts and your CPA

Pick the pieces you need. Most clients start with monthly bookkeeping and add payroll or sales tax once the books are current.

Monthly Bookkeeping

Every transaction categorized, every account reconciled, and a closed set of books in your inbox by the 10th.

  • Bank, credit card and loan reconciliation
  • Accounts payable and receivable tracking
  • Chart of accounts built for your industry

Cleanup & Catch-Up

Months — or years — behind? We rebuild your file from source documents and hand back books that tie out.

  • Diagnostic review before any work begins
  • Undeposited funds and duplicate entries cleared
  • Prior-period reconciliation to the bank statement

Financial Reporting

P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow statements with a plain-English summary of what actually changed.

  • Monthly statement package
  • Budget-to-actual variance reporting
  • Class, location or project-level tracking

Payroll Support

Run payroll on time with the right withholdings, and keep it reconciled to the general ledger.

  • Payroll processed in Gusto, ADP or Paychex
  • New-hire and contractor onboarding
  • Payroll liability reconciliation

Sales Tax Filing

Multi-state nexus tracked, returns filed before the deadline, and liability accounts that balance.

  • Nexus review across states where you sell
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual returns
  • Marketplace facilitator reconciliation

Tax-Ready Handoff

Your CPA gets a complete, documented year-end package — so you are not paying them to fix bookkeeping.

  • Year-end adjusting journal entries
  • Fixed asset and depreciation schedules
  • Document package delivered to your CPA

Straight answer

We are new. Here is why that works in your favour.

RNA opened this year, so there is no wall of reviews on this page and we are not going to invent one. What a new practice can give you is attention an established one cannot.

You get the founder, not a junior

Your books are done by the person who owns the practice. No account manager relaying questions, no file passed to whoever is free that week.

Founding-client pricing, held

The rate you start on is the rate you keep. Our first clients get it locked for as long as they stay, which is the honest trade for joining early.

Nothing to lose by trying us

Month-to-month with 30 days notice, no setup fee, and your file is exported back to you free whenever you ask. Leaving is as easy as joining.

Questions

Answers before you call

If your question is not here, ask it on the phone — we would rather tell you we are not the right fit than sell you a plan you do not need.

You are a new practice. Why should I trust you with my books?

Fair question, and we would rather answer it than dress it up. RNA is new, so you will not find a wall of reviews here — what you get instead is the owner doing your books personally, a written close checklist you can audit every month, founding-client pricing held for as long as you stay, and no contract tying you in if we do not deliver. Ask us for a reference as soon as we have clients happy to give one; until then, judge us on the first month.

Do you work with QuickBooks, Xero, or something else?

Both, plus Wave and Zoho Books. If you already have a file we will work in it. If you are starting fresh we usually recommend QuickBooks Online for service businesses and Xero for inventory-heavy ones, and we set it up at no extra cost.

How far behind can I be before it is too late?

As long as you can get us bank statements and receipts, the books can be reconstructed — a file three years behind is still recoverable. Catch-up work is quoted separately from your monthly fee as a one-time flat amount, agreed before any work starts.

Are you a CPA firm? Can you file my tax return?

We are a bookkeeping practice, not a CPA firm, so we do not sign or file income tax returns. We do prepare the complete year-end package your CPA needs, and we work directly with them so you are not stuck relaying messages. We do file sales tax and payroll returns.

What does onboarding actually require from me?

Read-only access to your bank and card accounts, an invite to your accounting file, and about 45 minutes of your time on a kickoff call. We handle the rest.

Is there a contract or a minimum term?

No annual contract. Monthly service is month-to-month with 30 days notice. Catch-up projects are a fixed fee agreed in writing before we start.

How do you keep my financial data secure?

Bank connections are read-only, documents move through an encrypted client portal rather than email, every team member uses hardware two-factor authentication, and access is removed the day an engagement ends.

Find out what your books are actually telling you.

Book a free 30-minute review. We will look at your file together, tell you what is wrong with it, and quote a flat monthly fee — no obligation and no sales script.
